Once a person has been elected to membership in the Illinois Business Hall of Fame, his or her success story is told in high school and college classrooms throughout the state. Presentations are made in individual classrooms and are delivered by skilled classroom-1541042_640professors who use slides to as visual impact. A variety of different presentations have been developed including the popular high school program titled, “Owning Your Own Business – An American Dream”. Teacher and student evaluations consistently give high ratings to Hall of Fame programs. More than a decade of Hall of Fame programming in the schools have proven that our young people have the capacity to appreciate and become inspired by the examples of Hall of Fame laureates. And by September 1986 Hall of Fame programs had inspired more than 100,000 Illinois students.
